Jannette Loosdrecht is the Afternoon Adventures Community Facilitator and oversees the teams that make the program happen every week.
Jannette, with her background in education and her passion to work with kids and their families, pursues very high standards for the program. Her vision is to see as many children as possible enroll in Afternoon Adventures somewhere in our city and aims to create awareness for the need of the program within the community. She is thrilled with the momentum being gained locally that has resulted in launching four new Afternoon Adventures programs in September 2016, facilitated by four churches, giving a total of five programs implemented in our community. Jannette’s love for people is contagious and makes everyone involved in this program feel welcome and valuable.
Jannette enjoys family time, traveling, reading, being creative and every so now and then allows her entrepreneurial side to get the better of her and explores business opportunities. She lives in Chilliwack with her husband Albert, and has four adult children and one grandson.
